Rural Symmetry Among the Stars
Far east on the plains of Colorado lies a hidden gem, an homage to the agricultural roots of the area, boasting demanding symmetry and a mysterious grace.
On this particular night, the goal was to incorporate a series of striking wooden structures into a panorama of the Milky Way. However, the elements had other plans. The persistent wind proved to be a formidable opponent, rendering the images unusable due to my tracker's base being unable to keep the camera perfectly still between gusts.
As the final hour of darkness approached, with the sun beginning its ascent, a change in strategy was enacted. Switching to a more stable base and abandoning the tracker, a series of shorter exposures were taken with the intention to stack them. The result? A composition that, despite the initial challenges, turned out to be quite remarkable.
