Unveiling the Cosmic Bubble: My NGC7635 Astrophotography Project
For weeks, I've been working on a special project, and I'm thrilled to finally share the results with you all! I've captured the magnificent Bubble Nebula, also known as NGC7635, and the outcome is truly something to behold.
Behind the Lens: The Seestar S50
This stunning image was made possible through the use of my Seestar S50, a fantastic piece of equipment that has allowed me to delve deeper into the wonders of the night sky. The processing involved a significant integration time, with a total of 3192 exposures, each of 10 seconds.
The Art of Stacking and Processing
Once the data was collected, the magic of stacking and processing began. Utilizing Siril, a powerful astrophotography software, I meticulously stacked the individual frames to reduce noise and enhance the faint details of the nebula. The subsequent processing brought out the vibrant colors and intricate structures that make NGC7635 so captivating.
A Glimpse into the Cosmos
The Bubble Nebula is a fascinating emission nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It's formed by the intense stellar wind from a massive star, BD +60°2522, which has created a shell of glowing gas. This project has been an incredible journey, and I'm so pleased to share this piece of the universe with you.
Stay tuned for more cosmic adventures!
