The Moon Last Night: A Captivating Glimpse

Last night, our nearest celestial neighbor put on a spectacular show, and I was lucky enough to capture it!

This image of the Moon was taken using a Celestron Powerseeker 60AZ telescope and an iPhone 15. The combination of a reliable telescope and modern smartphone technology allowed for a surprisingly detailed and beautiful shot of our lunar companion.

Following the capture, the image was meticulously edited in Adobe Lightroom. This post-processing step helped to enhance the details, bring out the subtle textures of the lunar surface, and ensure the overall clarity and impact of the photograph.

It's moments like these that truly remind us just how kickass the universe is! The ability to capture such breathtaking views with readily available equipment is a testament to how accessible space observation and astrophotography have become.

Keep looking up!
