  • Star Stretch & Statistical Stretch: Bringing out faint details without blowing out brighter areas.
  • GHS (General Histogram Stretch) & Curves: Fine-tuning the tonal range.
  • PixelMath: Combining the HOO data.
  • Final Adjustments in Photoshop: Including reintroducing stars and overall polishing.

A Clean Canvas in Bortle 5

Interestingly, this breathtaking image was captured from a Bortle 5 location. The astrophotographer notes the remarkably clean skies with minimal gradient, contributing to the exceptional clarity of the data.
