Stone Circles and Our Milky Way at Cape Kamenjak, Croatia
As part of a typical Slovenian family summer vacation in Croatia, an unforgettable night was spent under the stars at Cape Kamenjak. This stunning location, normally closed to visitors after dark, became the canvas for an incredible astrophotography experience. With special permission granted by Javna ustanova Kamenjak, the opportunity arose to capture a scene that blends natural beauty with a touch of mystery.
The hospitality encountered, from the email staff to the entrance team, was exceptionally warm and welcoming, a reminder of the kindness that exists in the world.
A Touch of Ancient Mystery
The enigmatic stone circles scattered across the landscape added a powerful, almost spiritual dimension to the night. Despite attempts to find information about their origin, their history remains a captivating secret. Under the vast expanse of the Milky Way, these ancient formations seemed to hold a profound energy.
