Starlake: A Milky Way Arch Panorama Over Lake Sylvenstein
There are moments that transcend words, moments where the sheer grandeur of the universe washes over you. Sitting by the quiet waters of Lake Sylvenstein, nestled near the German-Austrian border, and gazing into the expanse of the night sky is one such experience.
This panorama captures that feeling, showcasing a magnificent Milky Way arch stretching majestically above the tranquil lake. Under exceptionally dark skies, with no visible light pollution on the horizon, the core of our galaxy blazed brightly, visible even to the naked eye. The sight was so captivating that time itself seemed to dissolve, leaving only a brief window to capture this fleeting celestial spectacle. Fortunately, the efforts paid off, resulting in what I believe is my best work to date.
