My First Milky Way Timelapse: A Celestial Spectacle from the Alabama Hills

I'm thrilled to share my very first Milky Way timelapse, captured in the breathtaking landscape of the Alabama Hills, California. This re-uploaded version showcases the incredible detail and beauty of our galaxy arching over the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains.

  • Lens: Sigma 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM ART
  • Settings: ISO 6400, f/1.8, 20s exposures with a 15s image interval

The experience of witnessing and capturing the night sky in such clarity is truly humbling. The Alabama Hills provided a perfect foreground with its unique rock formations, adding to the overall magic of the scene.
