My First Daytime Moon Shot: A Newbie's Astrophotography Journey
It's an exciting moment when you take your first steps into the vast universe of astrophotography. For me, that journey began with the acquisition of my very first telescope – a Bresser Pollux-II 150/1400 EQ3 Reflector. And what better way to test it out than with a daytime capture of our nearest celestial neighbor, the Moon!
I was fortunate enough to catch the Moon visible even during the day, and managed to snag this image (along with a few others) using my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE mounted directly onto the telescope. It's a testament to the accessibility of modern technology that we can start exploring the cosmos with such tools.
This initial attempt, while simple, marks the beginning of a fascinating exploration. I'm eager to learn more, refine my techniques, and share more cosmic discoveries with you all!
