My Final Lunar Snapshot of the Cycle
As this lunar cycle draws to a close, I'm excited to share my latest capture of our closest celestial neighbor. Taken just moments ago, this image offers a stunning glimpse into the moon's intricate surface.
Equipment and Editing
This photograph was made possible using a Celestron Powerseeker 60AZ telescope, paired with the impressive capabilities of an iPhone 15. The raw data was then brought to life through careful editing in Adobe Lightroom, enhancing the details and bringing out the moon's dramatic features.
A Look at the Lunar Surface
The craters visible in this shot are truly surreal, showcasing the violent history of impacts that have shaped the moon over billions of years. Each crater tells a story, from the vast basins to the smaller, more detailed formations.
It's always a rewarding experience to capture these moments and share them with fellow space enthusiasts. I hope you enjoy this final view of the moon for this cycle!
