My Best Moon Photo Re-Edited Using Adobe Lightroom

I'm excited to share an updated version of one of my favorite Moon photographs! This image was originally captured using a Celestron Powerseeker 60AZ telescope paired with an iPhone 15. I recently revisited the raw data and applied some editing magic using Adobe Lightroom to bring out even more detail.

The difference is quite remarkable. Many of the Moon's craters, which can often be obscured by shadows, are now clearly visible and incredibly detailed in this re-edited version. I'm particularly pleased with how the touch-ups have enhanced the texture and depth of the lunar surface. It's always rewarding to see how post-processing can elevate a captured moment.

I'm still a bit surprised by the level of detail achievable with an iPhone for astrophotography, especially when combined with a capable telescope. This photo is a testament to the growing accessibility of capturing celestial wonders.

What do you think of the improvements? Let me know in the comments!
