Mount Adams Under a Starry Sky: A Glimpse of the Milky Way
A recent spell of beautifully clear skies in Washington provided a fantastic opportunity for some astrophotography. This shot of Mount Adams was taken a couple of nights ago, showcasing the majestic mountain against a backdrop of stars.
While the skies were incredibly clear, I was working with a limited setup that night, only having a 24mm prime lens available. This meant that capturing the full grandeur of the Milky Way, as I had initially hoped, was a bit more challenging. However, even with this constraint, the resulting image offers a captivating glimpse of our celestial neighbor.
The clarity of the atmosphere allowed for a sharp and detailed view of the stars, with Mount Adams standing as a silent sentinel below. It's a reminder of the breathtaking beauty that awaits us when we venture out on clear nights and look up.
