The vibrant band of the Milky Way was captured in a stunning display, arching directly behind the legendary Old Faithful geyser, showcasing the powerful convergence of Earth's natural wonders and the cosmos.

The photographer utilized a Nikon Z6 camera with a 24mm lens, set to an aperture of f/1.7 and an ISO of 51200. A 2-second exposure time allowed for the capture of both the faint starlight of our galaxy and the subtle illumination of the geyser's activity.

The post-processing involved meticulous adjustments in Lightroom, including enhancements to the white and black levels, increased clarity for sharper details, and a denoising process to bring out the clarity of the night sky.
