This stunning image was brought to life using a Skywatcher Explorer N 150/750 telescope, mounted on a stable Skywatcher EQ 3-Pro SynScan Go-To mount. The captured light was then recorded by a SvBony sv305c camera, revealing the intricate details of the nebula.
Crafting the Cosmic Image
The creation of this photograph was a patient endeavor, involving a total of 1 hour of exposure time, comprised of 120 individual images, each exposed for 30 seconds. The raw data was then meticulously processed, stacked, and edited using the powerful Siril software, a favorite among astrophotographers for its robust capabilities.
A Celestial Jewel
The resulting image showcases the characteristic ring-like structure of M57, glowing with vibrant hues. The central star, a white dwarf, is also discernible, the remnant of the star that created this magnificent celestial display.
