Luna: My First Telescope Image
It's a momentous occasion when you finally get your hands on your first telescope! For me, that moment arrived, and despite the decidedly uncooperative weather – a persistent drizzle outside – I managed to find a fleeting break in the clouds. This is the result: my very first image of Luna.
This image represents a passion project, born from the excitement of new equipment and the desire to capture the wonders of the night sky. It's a stack of 47 individual images, meticulously taken with a Maede DS-2090 (90D800F) telescope. My trusty Canon 90D was the camera of choice for this endeavor, and the final image was brought to life through stacking with Eagle Image Stacked software.
Even with the rain, the thrill of seeing the Moon through my own lens, and then bringing that image to life, was immense. It's a humbling and exhilarating first step into the vast world of astrophotography. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me!
