Harmony Borax Works: A Classic Spot Under the Stars
Death Valley's Harmony Borax Works is a site that has graced countless photographs, and for good reason. But experiencing the Milky Way ascend above these historic relics in person is a truly special affair.
Coincidentally, a star party was underway nearby. The ambient light from their setup cast a subtle glow over the landscape, adding an unplanned, yet welcome, touch of color and depth to the aged wagons and the rugged desert terrain. It's always a pleasant surprise when a bit of serendipitous light enhances the scene rather than detracting from it.
