Gazing into the Sea of Crises: A Lunar Exploration
Our nearest celestial neighbor, the Moon, continues to captivate us with its ever-changing surface. This recent capture focuses on the Sea of Crises (Mare Crisium), a prominent lunar plain easily visible from Earth. Within this intriguing region, we can clearly distinguish the impact craters Swift, Peirce, and Picard, each telling a story of ancient cosmic collisions.
This breathtaking image was brought to life using a Canon 700d camera paired with a Skymax 127 telescope. A one-minute video, captured through BackyardEOS, was then meticulously stacked to bring out the finest details of this lunar vista.
