Es Pontàs Under the Stars: A Night Sky Spectacle
The beautiful landscape of Es Pontàs in Santanyí, Mallorca, is a natural wonder formed by the relentless forces of the sea and wind. This fascinating motif became an even more captivating subject when viewed under the cloak of night.
To capture this celestial scene, a bit of an adventure was required. A hike was necessary to find the perfect vantage point, venturing out into the fading light. The effort, however, was richly rewarded. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the daytime crowds of "selfie tourists" at the nearby viewpoint quieted down, allowing for a moment of serene appreciation of the rugged coastline and the soothing sound of the sea.
This was a moment of peace, shared with my wife, soaking in the view before our vacation comes to an end. But the memories, and certainly the photographs, will ensure we'll be back for more.
