  • Acquisition Software: NINA
  • Guiding Software: PHD2
  • Mount Control: CPWI

Data Acquisition:

  • Broadband: 2 hours (40 frames x 3 minutes each) at gain 130, -10 °C.
  • Narrowband: 28 hours (568 frames x 3 minutes each) at gain 130, -10 °C.

This extensive integration time, combining both broadband and narrowband data, allows for the capture of faint details and accurate color representation.

The Science of Processing

Post-processing is where the captured light is transformed into the stunning visual spectacle we see. The workflow involved:
