The Scorpius Constellation: A Summer Milky Way Gem
Sometimes, the best celestial discoveries happen when your original plans don't quite pan out. After a challenging hike that didn't lead to the intended waterfall, I found myself accepting a different kind of reward: an arch in a stunning natural landscape. As darkness fell, the magnificent Scorpius constellation emerged, perfectly positioned above my campsite.
With the Milky Way painting a spectacular backdrop, I decided to embrace the scene before me. Utilizing an 85mm lens, I set out to capture the grandeur of the Scorpius constellation, a truly breathtaking jewel of the summer night sky. This region of the sky is renowned for its richness and vibrant colors, and this capture truly does it justice.
