Chasing the Stars: My Journey to the Milky Way in West Virginia
As an astrophotography enthusiast, I've always been drawn to the allure of the night sky. While I've spent most of my time under Bortle 4/5 skies, I recently had the incredible opportunity to venture into Bortle 3 territory, and the difference was nothing short of spectacular.
I admit, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Would the darker skies truly make that much of a difference? The answer is a resounding YES! Seeing the Milky Way come alive with such clarity and detail was a truly humbling experience.
