Capturing the Cosmos: My First Milky Way Shot in Sweden
Hey fellow space enthusiasts!
A few weeks ago, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Sweden for a vacation. Naturally, I packed my camera, hoping for clear skies. While the weather wasn't consistently cooperative, I managed to snag two nights with perfect conditions to try my hand at astrophotography for the very first time. I'm absolutely thrilled with the results, especially considering this is just the beginning of my journey!
This image was processed using Lightroom, but I'm looking to transition to Photoshop for future edits to further refine my skills. You might notice a bit of star trailing in the image – that's because I wasn't using a star tracker, and it was my first attempt without one. Every bit of star trailing is a testament to my learning process!
I'm really hoping to shoot more of the night sky soon. I'm always eager to learn and improve, so I'd be incredibly grateful for any advice or tips you seasoned astrophotographers might have for progressing in this amazing hobby.
