Several imaging runs were conducted to gather the data for this composite image, each utilizing different filters to capture varying aspects of the nebula:

  • UHC Filter:
    • Settings: 55mm aperture, f/4, ISO 5000
    • Exposure: 30 photos, 2 minutes each
  • L-Pro Filter:
    • Settings: 55mm aperture, f/4, ISO 400
    • Exposure: 27 photos, 2 minutes each
  • No Filter:
    • Settings: 55mm aperture, f/4, ISO 400
    • Exposure: 40 photos, 2 minutes each

Processing

The processing for this image primarily involved stacking the acquired frames. While extensive post-processing was not applied, the careful selection of filters and the extended exposure times allowed the subtle details of the Orion Nebula to emerge.
