Capturing the Full Moon: A Photographer's Deep Dive

The Vision

The Equipment

- Camera: Unmodified Canon R8
- Lens: 200-800mm lens, utilized at its full 800mm focal length.
The Acquisition Process

- Capture Format: The moon was shot as a 4K60p video, utilizing a digital teleconverter to further zoom in on the lunar surface.
- Frame Count: Approximately 6.5k video frames were captured.
