Every time I venture to the Alvord Desert, the sight of the Milky Way never fails to mesmerize. There's an undeniable majesty in its intensity, not just in its brilliant illumination but in its dynamic movement across the night sky. It twinkles, it shines, and it truly sparkles, creating an experience that feels utterly out of this world.
Walking amongst the vast lake bed, I felt a profound connection to the cosmos. It's moments like these that fuel a deep longing for places that offer such raw, unfiltered beauty. The Alvord Desert, under a blanket of stars and the sprawling arms of our galaxy, is undeniably one of them.

With a total exposure of 30 minutes, comprised of 30 individual 60-second shots at ISO 1000, the result is a stunning testament to the power of modern astrophotography.
